Buffalo Gap Retreat is located in the foothills of the Potomac Highlands, and is just 2 hours from Washington DC. The retreat center features cottage rentals and tent camping in addition to a beautiful outdoor pavilion, expansive fields, a lake for swimming, a wood-fired sauna, hiking trails, a cafe offering prepared foods, and other amenities. In the registration process, please let us know your preferred lodging option. We have a budget-friendly shared cottage that costs the same or less than a campsite. If you prefer to camp, you can reserve a campsite by emailing Barbara Jazzo. You may be able to find off-site lodging through VRBO; note that commuters are required to pay a day use fee. Detailed information and pictures of each cottage are available on the Buffalo Gap Retreat cottage page. Approximate lodging costs for the weekend (based on 2023 prices) are listed below:

• Private cottage ($400 - $700)

• Shared cottage (price divided among roommates)

• Private room in shared cottage ($150 - $250)

• Camp site ($120)

• Off-site lodging (day-use fee $30 per day or $120 for a group of 4 or less)
